Natural Resources Canada, in partnership with Environment and Climate Change Canada, Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Health Canada & Public Health Agency of Canada is seeking recent graduates in a field of natural sciences to become a part of the Postdoctoral Research Program.
The Postdoctoral Research Program offers scientists, who have in recent times obtained a PhD degree in a field of natural sciences, the chance to work with research groups or leaders in Canadian government labs and research institutions situated all over Canada. In turn, the Government of Canada gains from new and developing talent.
Federal research scientists add to strategic decisions, regulations, policies, and programs by offering a sound scientific knowledge base by means of their research. Eligibility for Postdoctoral Research Program
Applicants are required to have gotten a doctoral degree (PhD) within the last three (3) years* from a known post-secondary institution in a field of natural sciences with a concentration related to the duties of the position.
- Haven’t graduated yet? You can put in to the PRP if you are presently enrolled in a PhD program at a known post-secondary institution, however, you are required to have concluded your degree before you can be appointed to a position.
