About Murdoch University
Murdoch University is a state-owned higher academic institution in Perth, Western Australia, with campuses in Singapore and Dubai. It started operations as the state’s second higher academic institution on 25 July 1973, and took in its first undergraduate students in 1975. Its name is gotten from Sir Walter Murdoch (1874–1970), the Establishment Professor of English and past Chancellor of the University of Western Australia.

Eligibility for Loneragan Family Scholarship at Murdoch University
To be eligible for the Loneragan Family Scholarship, applicants must;
- Be registered in honours or the final year of your program at Murdoch University
- Be admitted in Biological, Environmental or Marine Science
- Possess a good academic record with a distinction average or greater
- Demonstration of community service
- Experiencing personal and financial hardship.
- prove their English language adeptness by IELTS with 6.5 and TOEFL with minimum 90 test scores.
